Call for Papers

Abstract submission

To submit a proposal, please prepare an abstract of your presentation (max 300 words) a short biography/ CV (max 150 words). Conference publication

The results of the workshop shall be published in a volume within the “Military and Humanitarian Medical Ethics” series, published by Springer. All speakers invited to the workshop are expected to contribute to this volume and to hand in their papers for peer review by 15. July 2026.

→ We will notify all applicants by February 15, 2026 at the latest whether their proposals have been selected. For all selected speakers, we cover conference fee, hotel, and travel expenses (economy class).

Deadline for abstract submissions: 15 January 2026, 23:59 CET

This form is only for abstract submissions and to apply as a speaker at the workshop.
A submission of this form does not guarantee a place in the workshop, neither as speaker nor as participant!

As in previous years, we plan to edit a volume with the workshop contributions in the Military and Humanitarian Health Ethics series at Springer Publishing. We expect all workshop speakers to contribute to this publications and invite them to send their chapters until 31 July 2026.
